Björn Fridén's contribution to heraldry is foremost artistic, creating and painting arms for several year, though historical research is a growing part of his heraldic work. His goal is to make heraldry more accessible to the wider population and will happily share any knowledge he may have acquired.

For his Master in History at Karlstad University Björn successfully wrote and defended The Heraldry of the Vasa
Dynasty Coats of arms as propaganda tools in conflicts with the outside world and within the family which can be read here.

For the purposes of German charity law Mr Friden is a deputy of the chairman.
